  • I seem to have a lot of wildlife on my deck ever since I planted some tomatoes and peppers in some pots out there. I have 10 pots of plants out there.

    I had a tree frog for one week, at least I think he was a tree frog. Otherwise I don't know how he got onto my deck. He had a very distinct sound he made at night and he was very cute. I took his picture.

    This week I have a mourning dove, she is very beautiful. And I almost stepped on her the other day. I have no idea why. I just walked out there and was looking up when my foot almost came down on her and she flew up in my face flapping everywhere. Then she came back a few minutes later after I went inside and she hung around on my deck for a few hours. I took her picture too. She didn't appear injured so I have no idea what that's all about. She just likes the atmosphere I have up there?

    I also have less desireable visitors such as wasps and I must always kill them. I knocked down 2 nests that were newly in progress and have killed like 5 stinging flying pests. But currently I have a spidey making a web out there. Normally I hate spiders, however this is a good situation for both of us since I like to have my sliding door open but hate it when bugs somehow find their way around/through the screen door. I took it's picture too. As long as it stays outside, and since it's at the other end of the deck furthest from my door, I will let it live.

    In other news, I quit my job today!!!! Yay!
